Salutations,
My Name is Joseph Noyes and I have the privilege of serving our Rangers as the Assistant Principal and Social Studies Teacher. I grew up in Redfield, SD, and graduated there in 2008. After high school, I attended the University of Sioux Falls, where I pursued a double major in History and Education, and competed in Collegiate Cross Country and Track & Field. Upon Graduating with my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sioux Falls I was hired at Hill City High School. In 2018 I began my Masters's Degree in Educational Administration through the University of South Dakota. I graduated with my Masters's in the Spring of 2020. Hill City is home for my wife Katie and me, our three beautiful boys Irving, Ellis, & Harmon, and our dogs Chester and Willa! This year, I have been given the opportunity to Serve as a K 12 Assistant Principal, while continuing to teach a period of World History, two periods of World Geography, and a period of U.S. Government, between these three preps, being the assistant principal and being the Head Track and Cross Country coach, I stay very busy and enjoy working with the students of Hill City daily! There is not a community I would rather be raising my family or working as a part of! I truly believe getting to be a Ranger every day is the best! If you are around the high school or middle school please swing by my office or classroom and say, hey.
