Hello Hill City Families,
My name is Chris Stoebner and I will be the new 6-12 School Counselor at the Hill City Schools. I am so excited to join the Hill City School District and to be working with students and families in the community. This coming school year will be my 13th year as a school counselor with my most recent position being a high school counselor at Rapid City Stevens. I am originally from Harrisburg, SD but have spent the last seven years in the beautiful Black Hills. Growing up in a small school district I love the small school atmosphere and how the community works side by side to support the school district. I look forward to being a small part of the success and culture Hill City School District has developed over the years . I will be meeting the needs of your students academically, socially and emotionally as my role as the school counselor. Even though we currently live in Rapid City my two daughters will be joining me so they too can experience what this great school district has to offer. I can’t wait to get the school year started and I am excited for our families next chapter! I am married to my wife Jona and have three children Cora (10), Mara (7) and Cason (2).
