Senior Deputy with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office. I started my career with the Sheriff’s Office in August of 2016. Prior to my career in Law Enforcement, I graduated from Steven’s High School. Next, I went to the University of Sioux Falls to pursue further education in teaching. I also received a scholarship to play college soccer while in Sioux Falls. After my freshman year, I transferred to Dakota Wesleyan University where I ultimately graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Human Services. During my time at DWU, I continued to play collegiate soccer as well and received multiple all-conference accolades.

Throughout my career with the Sheriff’s Office I have partaken in numerous roles, to include a youth mentor, coroner, Deputy Training Officer, Investigator, and an Instructor. The first 6 years of my career I worked in the patrol division and the last 4 years I’ve been fortunate enough to be the Hill City School Resource Officer. Lastly, since 2022, I have been the Director of the Emergency Vehicle Operations Cadre, which I also Instruct for.

When I am not working I value spending quality time with my wonderful daughter. We love anything outdoors to include the lake, camping, tennis, riding bikes, and golf!
